Welcome to the official website for the Wind Chasers Chapter of Women In The
Wind.
We are a small group of women riders who share a common interest:
MOTORCYCLES!
Our headquarters are located in Soap Lake, WA. Is is our intent to
primarily draw members from the Grant County area, but if you live outside
the area and don't mind driving the distance to attend monthly meetings or
rides, please contact us regarding membership.
WITW has three main
purposes...
1) To educate our members in
motorcycle safety and maintenance.
2) To unite women
motorcyclists with friends of common interest
3)To promote a positive
image to the public of women on motorcycles.
Our Chapter was started in June of
2007. We welcome all female riders regardless of make and model of
motorcycle. We only require that you carry a current endorsement or permit
and that your ride is street safe and legal.
National yearly membership dues are
$15 a year, and current yearly Charter dues are also $15 a year for a
total of $30. As our chapter is brand new, logo items are not yet available
for members. We are waiting for WITW approval.
